Urban Decay Order!!! (it's sorta a review)

I'm so happy! My first ever Urban Decay order came in this afternoon. As soon as the creepy ups guy(no offence ups, this one just lingered around my house longer than necessary XD) left I grabbed it and that's when my love affair began....
I love The Best of Urban Set and everything, but what is up with the dingy packet of primer potion I got free? There's literally enough to use once, twice tops. Not cool. But the set is uber-lovely. The packaging is so...shiny :) *pretty, pretty, shiny, shiny.*

Here are some swatches. The one on top is the burbon liner. I gotta say, I'm not really that impressed with it. I mean yeah, it's creamy but I can get one just as creamy for 5 bucks. Then I have the heavy metal glitter liner in baked. I love it. It's a beautiful gold/copper glitter with a clear base. I took a nap and the glitter was still in tack! Next it's the half baked eyeshadow without a base. WOW! I've never seen an eyeshadow go on so smooth. The texture is like silk. The final one is the half baked shadow with primer potion. It's a little bit darker/brighter with a base. Less golden. I put all of these products on my eyes at around 2pm. It's now 8pm. (think of it like a school day) The eyeshadow still looks great. The glitter has not budged, nor had the eyeliner.

Unfortunately I was looking on their website, and the Best of Urban Set is no longer available :(

Review: Claire's Scent Stick (cherry)

I wanted to love this. I really did. Sadly, that didn't happen.

Price: Around $4

Smell: I was messing around with this in the car and my mom said it smelled like a shirley temple. I thought it smelled slightly better than cherry chapstick. Overall, the scent is pretty nice.

Lasting Power: These. Don't. Last. I swear this only lasted on my wrist for 30 minutes tops. It was four dollars, but still. I was so disapointed. :(

Rating: YY The idea behind these is really creative. I'd never seen anything like this before. The smell is nice too. The longetivty just isn't worth to buy it. This is a cute idea for little girls. I should have known better.

Review: Revlon Illuminance Creme Shadow (skinlights)

The Price: Around $6.00, usually it's easy to find revlon coupons. :]

Texture: These are the first creme shadows I've used. They feel pretty nice, very creamy(duh Flannery) . They have tons, and tons of sparkles in them. There have been time when I find sparkles on my cheeks. Not bad if I'm wearing them to a dance, but bad when you go to catholic school and you have to be careful about makeup haha.

Lasting Power: I've heard that these crease. I don't have oily lids or anything, and these have never creased for me. If you do have oily lids might just want to try one of these first and see how they work for you. They lasted for a while without a primer. The color kinda fades thorough the day, which sucks. Although these are really nice for bases.

Rating: eee1/2 I like these, but I don't love them. I would use them for bases and for going out, but that's about it. The lasting power isn't anything special. The colors are alright. It's just kinda meh. Would I try different colors? Yeah I'd say so. Would I buy this specific

palette again? Probably not.

Swatches!

The color to the far left (I call it pumpkin hehe) Is a pretty peachy orange.
The color next to pumpkin is like a light coral color, it's not too overpowering.
The shade next to coral is these very light, like an off white. It has lots of sparkles and reminds me of a unique wedding dress.
The one to the far right is just a brown with shimmer.

Review: Ulta Automatic Eyeliner (colors: gold, charcoal, silver, olive, chocolate, rasin)

THE PRICE: I got these for $1.00!!! But they usually retail for around $7.00

WATERLINE?: Although these are waterproof, they don't last on my waterline, but neither has any eyeliner but no big deal.

LASTING POWER: These babies last for a pretty long time on your top and lower lid. They stay on for a work day or school day. By the end of the night, they faded just a little bit, but still who wears eyeliner for 16 hours?

RATING: JJJJ These are amazing for $1. Although I'm poor so I don't think I would pay full price for them, haha. If you find these on sale get them! If you have money to to spend for full price, get them!

Thrift Store Find!

Today I went to the thrift store with my brother to find some vintage jewlery for his girlfriend, and I found a beautiful hair bow. It's HUGE too. (that's what she said, sorry couldn't resist.) The material reminds me of a silky, baby pink prom dress. Love it!

Review: Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear in Green With Envy

RATING:--- It's not a very unique color, and application is kinda messy.

THE PRICE:
Around $2.50 (I used a coupon, so really $1.50 hell yeahs!)

THE COLOR:
It's a toned down lime green. A bright color, but not "omg look at me!!!!!!!".

THE PRODUCT/APPLICATION:
This polish is very, very thick. It's opaque in basically one coat. It can look streaky at first, but the streaks just vanish while it's drying. The brush is flat which some like, some don't. I think it's easier to apply the polish personally. The drying time takes a while. Which is odd because my other Xtreme Ware polishes dry in a reasonable amount of time. It hasn't chipped in 3 days, so rock on I guess. :/

Once again I got a little bored ;D So i colored a quater with some painty markers and super glued it to some charm on an old necklace, and voila! A necklace I made for free that you could get from pac sun for 8 bucks. Seriously I HATE overpriced stuff! (You can probably tell from all the shit I make. ;])
